Stand With Black Women Brunch: In Full Bloom

In partnership with Planned Parenthood of Florida and The Well
Reflecting on this gathering, we're reminded of what happens when Black women come together with intention. The conversations were real, the community was powerful, and the theme of reclaiming joy stayed with us long after we left.
Our founder, Amelia Howard, LMHC, joined as a panelist for this brunch centered on reproductive justice, education, and empowerment.
Joy is not something to be earned after everything else is handled. It is a necessity. It is healing. It is an act of self-preservation. And on Juneteenth, that message felt even more powerful, freedom and joy go hand in hand.
Thank you to every woman who showed up, shared her story, and connected with us. You reminded us why this work matters.

Navigating Teens in Recovery

Coordinated by Florida Recovery Schools of Tampa Bay
Our founder, Amelia Howard, LMHC, was honored to serve as a presenter at this year's Navigating Teens in Recovery event.
This free, collaborative gathering brought together parents, educators, mental health providers, law enforcement, and faith community leaders, all working to support teens impacted by substance use. The day focused on strength-based support, expert insights, and local resources to strengthen prevention and long-term recovery for youth across Tampa Bay.
With breakout sessions tailored to every attendee, from caregivers to professionals, and lunch provided, it was a meaningful day of connection and collaboration in service of our community's teens.
Thank you to everyone who joined, and to Florida Recovery Schools of Tampa Bay for coordinating such an important event.
