Counseling Intern Therapist

Whether your mind won’t slow down, you’re carrying grief or past hurts, or you just don’t feel like yourself lately, I’m really glad you found your way here.

I’m Endrysa Peguero-Castillo, a bilingual Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. I work with clients from age 10 through older adulthood who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, life transitions, low self-esteem, and executive functioning challenges.

I know reaching out can feel like a big step, especially when you’re not sure where to begin. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan. My job is to meet you where you are and help you make sense of what you’re going through, one session at a time.

I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, in person and through telehealth. My clients often tell me I make it easy to open up, and I take that to heart. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in practical tools you can start using right away.

"You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone"

Who I Serve?

Are you carrying grief, stress, or past experiences that still weigh on you today?

Are you a parent watching your child struggle and not sure how to help?

If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again, I’d love to help.

I work one-on-one with kids ages 10 and up, teens, young adults, adults, and older adults. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma and PTSD, anger, stress, low self-esteem, and executive functioning challenges. I also offer career counseling for anyone feeling unsure about their path.

I especially enjoy working with clients who are curious about themselves and ready for change, even if they’re not sure where to start. Whether you’re a student learning to manage stress, an adult rebuilding after a hard season, or someone who simply wants to understand yourself better, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I believe therapy should be tailored to each person, so every session is shaped around you, your goals, and your pace. Alongside a space to be heard, you’ll leave with practical tools you can use in your everyday life.

Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, ADHD, Grief, Life Transitions, Identity Development

Credentials & Education: Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, concentration in Trauma Studies, Chestnut Hill College. Clinical experience providing outpatient therapy in a variety of settings using CBT, DBT-informed interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Who I Get to Know Me

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll usually find me with a crochet project in hand. I’m still learning, but I’m always looking for something new to try and hoping to get a little better with each one. I’m also a stationery enthusiast and an avid reader, and there’s nothing I love more than exploring a cozy bookstore in search of my next favorite book. I don’t drink coffee, but I’ll never turn down a good matcha. I also enjoy playing video games and going for walks. For me, it’s all about slowing down, learning new things, and finding joy in the simple moments.
